ALMOST A WEEK!
I'll tell you what, one week is a looooooooong time! LOL. And it is not even a full week yet! My body is not sure what is happening and sure as hell doesn't like it! I'm going on the 3rd day now without...err... you know... well passing faeces! I did promise that I'll be graphic so forgive me for not using the nicer expressions! LOL!!!

WHEN THE TUMMY & FRIENDS GANG UP AGAINST YOU
You know what they say about yo-yo dieting. They say that it confuses the body so much that it begins to store up food (as fat) when it does come and becomes less inclined to let go of the fat when the person begins to diet and exercise. That's why (according to the studies) it becomes increasingly difficult (but not impossible) to lose the weight. So, my digestive system is at war. At this point I am wondering if my body thinks that by retaining food in my stomach, it will still store up fat for later. I mean, how stupid can it be? Please let go...

I DON TURN TO NWA MKPI - BAA BAA!
But on the good part, it was nice to be able to chew again today. Had vegetable salad for lunch and vegetable soup (yes, again) for (early) dinner. Slowly becoming a herbivore (Not vegetarian, it's intentional!)! Let's hope I don't sprout horns! But come to think of it... how come we have some fat goats and sheep if all they eat is vegetables?

GOING HOME
Hmm... Simple pleasures, right? Chewing? Home? I am glad that the trip will end tomorrow so I can be more in control of what I eat. Considering drinking Alli to fight the oil in the vegetable soup... Maybe I will. Or maybe not. No need confusing the various herbs and stuff!

Ulo, you are quite right about the battle going on in your body. It may actually be counter-productive in the long run, because your body WILL go into "starvation mode" when it does not get food as it is used to and stores fat to feed itself just in case there is a famine going on. This is a survival technique and the trick is to actually eat more. Let me explain. A handful of nuts, a small salad, carrots, a granola bar in between meals will "trick" the body into faster metabolism, because it works to keep the food moving through the system and will not store it as fat. You know I'm a bit leery of these extreme measures you are taking, but I appreciate the need for a jump start. Please stay healthy, and don't forget the advice about weight lifting to prevent skin - sagging.

Sake'm...please dont send me to an early grave with laughter!...LOL!....Nwa Mkpi!!!???...lol!phew!...thats the spirit dear, see the humourous part of every situation!lol!...just a tip though,...about your soups sake'm,..it is possible to make it without palm oil you know?..I do?..though mine started as a rebellion to the trashy palm oil we get here from ghana;i have no idea what the heck it is?..but it tastes like coloured soap?so,i just chucked it!for quite over two years now,i just blend red peppers with loads of crayfish and my soup is good to go!looks odd though, but tastes great?you may not get away with it in all soups?....but okro and vegetable are good for this style?..with loads of shrimps, fish and whatever creatures you like?
Okay dear...Jisike inula?....cheers!

It moved!!! Yeah... The bowel moved!!! And beautifully too! And I'll be honest, I did take the Alli tablets both on Thursday and yesterday evening so I do believe I have taken care of the oil issue. For those of you that do not know Alli, it is a weight supplement that works like Xenecal. It stops the body from absorbing oil... Basically you poop the oil out! So, that was my antidote for the oil...and it worked. I had evidence!!! LOL!!!

I know my current style is drastic but it is for a season and for a purpose. I am not thinking healthy weight-loss plans at this stage... Just weight-loss, period! We will come to the sensible stages. Then I will ask for all your kind advice.

Lomalina sweetie, the only reason why am having oil in my soup is because I am still at Protea Hotel in PH. I really can't control what they feed me with... But I'll be going home this evening and I already know and try out some of the tricks that you suggested. Truth is that fats and oils are the real killer!

I will indeed buy those weights to keep at home and in the office... I can see how that will help!
