I think what was most annoying was the new 'nurse' at the torturers who decided to tell her colleague (in yoruba) that I was lying. And that I must have eaten something I should not have eaten. It was difficult not to vent my frustrations on her!! Well, we decided after that the weight gain was a combination of 2 things...
1)The initial weight loss after the Wednesday night debacle was 'erroneous' at best. Probably just a loss of water
2)The gym regimen is sure to add some muscle before it begins to help wt inch loss...

I am slowly losing interest in the types and portions of foods... The craving for chocolate is returning. Help!!!

I was waiting for this part. This is where the novelty wears off and you start thinking, after all nothing is showing so why should i continue to deny myself? This is the make-or-break part. If you don't gird your loins and forge ahead, the whole exercise unravels and this becomes a failed weight-loss programme. So hang in there and drink plenty of water(if the murderers allow water).

@AbaBoy... Let me enlighten you about how they look. Let's start with the ambiance... it's like a glorified herbalist's cove. Paint is brown and dark. Posters and pictures are about 27 years old...as is the furniture. My friend went there and decided she couldn't go back because, according to her it looked like a brothel. Me I don't know what a brothel looks like... but I could feel her.
Then the girls are just skinny and young. You know, exactly as thin and as youthful as you will never be again. They have deceptively thin hands that come alive on unsuspecting, overweight masses of protoplasm. Many a time I open my eye... (they are usually closed in a prolonged wince) to be sure that some male weightlifter has not taken over from them. It always shocks me to see that it is still them.
